Erin Egelkrout is a Senior Scientist at ABI where she leads the effort at expressing proteins in transgenic maize. She has also served as the principal investigator, as well as a co-investigator on several NIH grants.  Before joining ABI in 2006, Dr. Egelkrout was at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Seattle, and North Carolina State University, Raleigh. She holds a Ph.D. in molecular biology from North Carolina University.
